Google Dance was a term coined to describe the massive rank fluctuations that would occur in the past when Google would update its rank algorithm once a month. Since Google began implementing much smaller algorithm updates on a daily basis, the rank changes are normally less dramatic, and therefore Google Dance is no longer a term frequently used in the SEO industry.
