Google Sandbox

Google Sandbox is purported by some to be a virtual probation area that new websites are placed in by Google to more carefully evaluate if they are adhering to Google's Quality Guidelines. According to this theory, websites in the Google Sandbox supposedly do not rank well even if they publish quality content and receive a significant number of backlinks. The existence of a Google Sandbox is a disputed topic in the SEO industry and to a large extent, the discussion about whether it exists or not is a thing of the past.
