CallRail Integration



CallRail provides call tracking, recording, and analytics for digital marketers.  Authorizing a connection between CallRail and Rank Ranger enables you to showcase your marketing efforts in white label Dashboards and PDF reports that include data from your most important tools. 

CallRail data can be viewed and presented in Insight Graphs and Metric Widgets and in the CallRail Overview report.

CallRail data is integrated into Rank Ranger using their API. If you have your data segmented in your CallRail account, then you will be able to attach each segment to a different Rank Ranger campaign. If you need assistance, please refer to CallRail's Company Configurations documentation, submit a ticket or contact their support team at 888-219-2787 for further instructions for segmenting your data.

Get Your CallRail API Key

 

You can obtain your CallRail API Key by following their instructions:

Log into your CallRail account and then:
  • Click your login initials at the top of the page, then select Security

  • Select the Security tab, then click API Keys.

  • Your active API V2 keys are listed in the table.

  • Click + Create New API V2 Key at the top of the page to create a new key.






Connect CallRail to Rank Ranger

 
After you've obtained your API Key, please:
  • Access Account > Connections > Authorized Connections

  • Click the Add Connection button and now you'll see an option for CallRail in the Call Tracking Integrations section.




  • Click the CallRail button and enter your API Key, then click the Add button



  • Name your CallRail integration and click the Update button.

Connect CallRail to Campaign

Open the Campaign Settings for the rank tracking campaign that you want to be associated with CallRail and click Other Integrations in the left menu.

Scroll down to the CallRail section and select the CallRail connection you have created from the list and click the Connect button.

In the menu, select the account in CallRail that is associated with the campaign.

When the connection has been successfully made, you will see the CallRail Account name, and below it links to use that data in the Insight Graph and Metric Widgets.

CallRail Insight Graphs

             
 
Add CallRail Metrics to Insight Graph

Insight Graphs are found in the Reports & Tools > Custom Suite section of Rank Ranger and can be viewed in the user interface, and added to Marketing Dashboards, Client Dashboards, and PDF Reports.  Simply click the Add Metric button, name the metric, and select:
  • Color from the palette
  • Data Source: Other Integrations
  • Type: CallRail
  • Metric: choose from Answered Calls, Average Duration, First Time Callers, Leads, Missed Calls, or Total Calls. 
  • Repeat for each additional metric

Call Center Performance Graph

In this example, Total Calls have been set as an Area chart type, Answered Calls, First Time Callers, and Missed Calls have been set as Line chart type.

Add CallRail Tracking Data to Metric Widgets

Metric Widgets are located in the Reports & Tools > Custom Suite section of Rank Ranger and can be viewed in the user interface, and added to Marketing Dashboards, Client Dashboards, and PDF Reports.  Simply click the Add Metric button, name the metric, and select:

In this example, we've added 5 metric widgets to create a call tracking performance dashboard.

Call Tracking Graphs in a Marketing Dashboard

In this example, we've added a panel of 5 Metric Widgets to display an analysis of call activity compared to the previous period. Below that are 2 Insight Graphs: the first providing a view of Total Calls and Average Call Duration, and the second detailing performance with Total Calls, Answered Calls, First Time Callers and Missed Calls.

Available Third Party Integrations


Third Party data can be used to create individual or blended metrics Insight Graphs and Single Metric Widgets and is also available in a wide variety of reports.
